AdBrite : An Alternative to Adsense

Just presenting a basic interpertation of the AdBrite PPC system for publishers…

Overview : AdBrite has definitely placed itself in the top rank of internet affiliate PPC programs and has shown a sheer determination to break into the contextual text PPC market that Google AdSense has a stranglehold on. AdBrite is not as strict regarding publisher’s limitations and even has an option to allow more “risque” ads on a publishers site if they approve.

Click Fraud : AdBrite uses an extensive auditing system to weed out duplicate clicks or clicks from a publisher’s IP. In my opinion, a publisher does have the right to click on ads and see what is being actually advertised on his/her site, and those clicks can be easily discredited during the audit process without banning a publisher who might potentially end up with invalid clicks for numerous reasons. IMHO, this saves a lot of time and effort on AdBrite’s part having to deal with disgruntled advertisers and/or publishers which cost a company resources.

Tips : Right now, AdBrite is useful if you are marketing to the “internet generation”, it’s a very new marketplace, and patience is a virtue here. If you want a real hint, and you are a publisher, not an advertiser, go in as a potential advertiser and look at how sites are ranked.

Customer Service : They actually answer the phone and talk to you. Very friendly and courteous staff and have been an overall pleasure dealing with.

ABP Opinion

We’re very impressed with the recent updates to the members area and have been supporting AdBrite for almost 2 years now. Never had a bad experience with them and their checks cash.

Easy Free Method Gets MASSIVE Website Traffic

I was reading the newspaper the other day I suddenly had a thought. There was quite a lot of adverts in the paper but I by-passed those. Instead I just read the articles that interested me. So why was this?

Well, we don't want to be sold anything. If I want to buy something then I'll go looking for it.

I spend a lot of time searching the internet for information. Am I looking for sales pages? No, not unless I want something and then I go searching.

The results I tend to click on and read are information.

Fortunately, the top results for most queries seem to be article websites. These are ones showing relevant articles based on my web search.

What's the lesson to be learned here?

Basically this. If we all mainly look for information before we look for sales pages then this is the way to get buyers. How is this?

When we make a decision to look for something to buy it's usually because we've heard about something that interests us.

My friend Tony met me in the bar 2 weeks ago. He knew that I was still using dial-up internet. Not broadband. I wanted it already but wasn't sure, for quite some time, which one to go for.

Tony told me how he'd recently changed his broadband supplier. He said how brilliant it was, what it did and the price deal. I was very interested.

So next I started looking for the person selling this deal. After which, I shortly signed up. I'm very happy with my decision.

The point I'm making is...

I wasn't looking for this man to sell me broadband. However, after hearing information about it I decided to go off and look. What are these two steps?

Quite simply, (#1), I got information about something and then, (#2), went looking where I could buy it. What does this mean?

I don't mean you just write articles recommending products. But if your article points out advantages or pitfalls and how a particular purchase helps...then this works. Or...

It could be an article about how to do something or the solution to a problem. After, you mention that a perfect tool (product) helps them carry out your advice. There's a problem?

The way most people write articles, titles and link to their website is not right. Often, the readers and website traffic could be far higher if the article titles, text and website link were written differently.

I've seen this problem with most of the articles out there. Think about it.

Why do just a fraction of articles become popular?

They do something different...that's why. I've found out (quite by accident) the best way of doing this.

Top Affiliate Program to Work from Home

Affiliate programs are being adopted by more and more online businesses all the time as they are a great way to have products promoted and sold by more representatives (affiliates) without having to employ an increasingly larger sales force. Simply by offering some reasonable incentive to ordinary people to work from home promoting their product/s a business can sell more product/s more cost effectively.

Affiliate programs on the internet are an excellent way to create long term income for life and can become your main income source while working from the comfort of your home. You can participate in an affiliate program and be earning good income with little out going cost.

Working from home has many benefits, most of which I'm sure you would immediately recognize. The commonly mentioned ones are such things as not having to commute, more time with family or friends and being your own boss. One benefit though less frequently mentioned is that of tax benefits. Once you have a business at home you have a range of potential tax deductions on things that would not normally be tax deductible. You can claim against your affiliate earnings a percentage of your home costs such as electricity, heating, computer and internet, telephone and home office furnishings, all of which can be a great money saving.

Many stay at home moms are now looking to online affiliate programs to earn a living and there are many that are succeeding well in this area. As the US economic problems deepen and the recession tends to creep worldwide there will be more men considering affiliate programs as an income source.

To build an online business from home does not necessarily require having sales experience or being a sales guru. There are many examples of affiliates who have built a very successful online business who have started without prior experience. But an important point to consider is that as an untrained sales representative and probably no natural salesperson, which applies to most of us, how well does the product sell itself and how well does the businesses' website present the product. You need to be confident that once you do the basic promotion and get a prospective customer to visit the businesses' website that the business itself will convert the prospect to a customer and you'll then get your commission.

The important thing in finding an appropriate program is cost of product/s, how well the program's product/s sell, how well they fulfill a use or a need and how big the potential market is. There is not much point in trying to promote something if it is too expensive, the majority of people will not spend much online or don't want to get locked into any expensive monthly fees. You can't expect to make many commissions if not many people are likely to find a use or need for the product, or if the potential buying public for the product is very limited.

After much searching and having tried various affiliate and MLM, Network Marketing, programs over many years I have found a multi level affiliate program that addresses all of the issues mentioned. It not only pays a commission for each sale they make through your affiliate link, but also pays commissions on all those that are introduced by those you introduce and this is where it becomes really powerful as an affiliate program money earner.

Internet Marketing Strategies - Part One

Developing a successful internet marketing strategy is an essential part of your online success. In order to succeed, you must develop and implement a strategic plan that includes all of the following:
  • A great product
  • A web site specifically designed to sell
  • A killer marketing strategy

Each step plays an important role in your overall strategy and must be developed to its fullest potential. If even one step fails, your chances of success will be minimal.

Developing Your Product
Your first step will be to develop a great product. You're probably thinking that's easier said than done, but it's really not. The absolute best product is one that you can develop yourself and deliver over the Internet. With today's technology, there is absolutely no reason why you can't create your own product. The knowledge you have within your own mind is extremely valuable. Everybody is good at something, has a special talent or some specialized knowledge. Use this knowledge to create a product.

The key to developing a great product is exclusiveness. Your product should be unique and not be in competition with hundreds of other similar products. You must give your potential customers exactly what they want. Develop a high-quality product that fills a void to increase your chance of success.

Another consideration of great importance is your target market. Keep in mind, the Internet is a global marketplace. Develop a product with a large geographic target and a wide appeal. A great product will fulfill a need or desire and provide instant gratification.

Here are a few of the top sellers:

• Software
• Information
• Private sites
Internet services

Before you develop your product, do some research -- find out exactly what people want and develop your product accordingly.

The most important consideration when developing your product is quality. Your product should not only deliver what you promise, but should go above and beyond the expected and overdeliver. Your customers satisfaction is of the utmost importance.

Developing Your Web Site
Once you've developed a great product, your next step will be to develop a great web site. Your web site must be specifically designed to sell your product.

Everything within your web site should have one purpose -- getting your visitor to take action. Words are the most powerful marketing tool you have. The right words will turn your visitors into customers. The wrong words will cause them to click away and never return.

Your words are the entire foundation of your business. Your product, your web site and your marketing strategies all depend upon your words. Fancy graphics don't make sales -- words do.

Every word, sentence and headline should have one specific purpose -- to lead your potential customer to your order page. Write your web site copy as if you are talking to just one person. Identify a problem and validate that one visitor's need for a solution. Continue to write and explain why your product is the solution to their problem. Tell them exactly what your product will do for them -- why it will solve their problems and how. Pack your copy with benefits and more benefits. Write to persuade -- that's the bottom line.

Developing Your Marketing Strategies
Your marketing strategy is the final process of your plan. Your plan must include both short-term and long-term strategies in order to succeed.

Short term marketing strategies are those that bring you a temporary boost in traffic. Although these techniques are very important to your over-all plan, they are only a temporary traffic source and must not be solely relied upon.
Short term marketing strategies include:

• Purchasing advertising
• Bulletin Boards
Search Engines

Long term marketing strategies are those that bring you a steady stream of targeted traffic over time. These strategies will continue to produce results even years down the road.

Long term marketing strategies include:

• Opt-in Lists
• Freebies
• Content

By creating and implementing a balanced marketing strategy, using both short-term and long-term strategies, you will drive a steady stream of targeted traffic to your web site.

If you use this simple formula when creating your Internet marketing strategy and excel at all three, you can literally guarantee your success.

Blogs ,Google Adsense and easy income

Blogs bring in traffic where as Google Adsense is the medium to cash that incoming traffic.Google AdSense is easy to install on a web page or blog and constitutes additional source of income without spending anything. You have to apply on-line for Google AdSense Program and generally approval comes from Google within two days. Those having AdWord account can use AdWord e-mail address and password for AdSense account also.

After acceptance of application, Google confirms creation of your Adsense account thru e-mail. You get a code for AdSense text ads and another code for AdSense search. These codes are to be installed on web page or blog and within minutes the page will start displaying ads from Google, and a Google search bar. AdSense is available in dozen languages worldwide.

The code for AdSense can be placed on any of your web pages. I think placing it on your blog will give you distinct advantage because blogs have several points in their favor. They are easily indexed by search engines. Recently two of my simple blogs were indexed by Google within 2-3 days of submission of URL's which I think is quite fast. With Yahoo! it is even easier - just add the URL of your blog to your My Yahoo page and Yahoo! will start accessing it immediately. GoogleAlert is a free tool that can be used to know when your blog is indexed by Google.

You can have your blog up and running in minutes free of cost from several sites that provide this service. I personally use blogger.com. With blogs you do not need to worry about designing websites, registering domain name or hiring web site hosting service. You simply write your content on the blog and it is ready for publication.

An excellent example on how to blend the blogs with adsense can be found on websites

With AdSense wide range of options is available - number of ads for display, shape and size of display, color schemes. More than 200 colors are available from which you can choose color for border, background and text. 24 pre-set color palettes are readily available; in addition you can have your own custom-palette to match with the appearance of your web page. Similarly, color schemes are available for Google search bar.

When the web page is opened, Google ads are placed which match with the content of the page and are highly relevant. Google finds right ads for the web page from 100,000 AdWord advertisers.

Several options are available for the ads that you would like to be displayed on your page. Ad filters can be activated which will block up to 200 URL's of your choice which you do not want to show on your page. You may like to filter away ads from your competitors. You can even choose your own default ads for display. Google uses sensitive content filters to prevent display of sensitive material. If you find that your page is not really getting relevant ads, it may be time to look critically at the content of the page, particularly the keywords used in text, links and tags. Little SE optimization of the page should resolve this problem.

Sometimes Google places public service ads when no target ads are available. To suppress public service ad, it is possible to specify your own image ad or HTML page ad which will appear in place of public service ad. This ensures that some ad is always present there. Or, if you like, the space reserved for Adsense ads can be made to collapse.

AdSense tracker is another useful feature which tracks the ads on your pages and generates report for you. The reports can be customized based on requirement. Typically reports can give page impressions displayed, number of clicks and click-thru rates. It is also possible to check earnings any time.

Web page owner can make use of all these facilities and try to get best results.

With the help of Ad tracker lot of useful information can be obtained - which ads are doing well, which color combination gets better results, which location of the web page is best for showing ads and so on. This analysis can be used to improve traffic as well as click-thru rates.

With AdSense you have virtually nothing to lose. If you have not yet ins

Clickbank – The Affiliate Marketer’s Marketplace Dream Come True

Many affiliate marketers utilize Clickbank for their promotions. Since Clickbank is the largest provider of digital products on the internet, this only makes sense. But how many of these affiliate marketers actually take the time to do research on what are going to be the best products to promote. Do they look beyond what is the most popular or what has the highest gravity score? How many new affiliate marketer know that there is much more to picking a product?

How many affiliate marketers actually take a look to see if the product they are promoting with Clickbank is actually friendly to the affiliate marketer? Most new affiliate marketers only know to look at the popularity and gravity scores and then just start promoting the product. They do not realize that professional affiliate marketers will create their own landing page if they don’t like the pitch page or if it is not affiliate marketer friendly.

An affiliate marketer friendly pitch page has a professional look, properly utilizes keyword density and has only ONE “out” off of the page. The “out” is what many new affiliate marketers miss when reviewing their product. They will just start promoting a product because it has high popularity or gravity scores, not realizing that they are just promoting for the publisher and not for themselves. When they don’t make any sales, many will get discouraged and quit. So, the next time you review a pitch page, check to see if it has only any one of these “outs” included in the page.

Free newsletter opt-in box

  • This is where the publisher offers a newsletter to anyone that signs up. It has been proven that it sometimes takes up to 6-7 emails or newsletters before someone will make a purchase. By getting the visitor to sign up for a newsletter, the publisher has the opportunity to get the 6-7 emails out to increase their odds of a conversion.

Free report opt-in box

  • This is where the publisher offers a free report in exchange for an email address. Again, the advantage here is that the publisher can now send out several email promotions/communications that will increase their odds of making a conversion.

Free e-course opt-in box

  • These have become very popular. A person signs up for a 3-5 part course from the publisher. Included in these e-courses are promotions, again increasing the odds of a conversion.

If any of these are on the page, it is human nature to sign up for the free stuff before making the commitment to purchase. Each of these allows the visitor an “out” which benefits the product owner (publisher) and not the affiliate marketer.

When reviewing a pitch page, the only “out” you want on the page is the one that takes the visitor to the purchase page. Now there can be several of these call to action “outs”, but they should all lead to the same page – the one that actually takes the order.

So next time you are reviewing a Clickbank product for promotion, make sure it is affiliate marketer friendly. Remember – it’s all about getting the conversion that benefits both the publisher AND the affiliate marketer.
